Distinctive ring has been actively pending for about three years. It still
hasn't happened. About three years ago someone from Telstra Research Labs
faxed me a spec sheet about it showing ring cycles, etc (I still don't know
who this was, actually).

I called Telstra about it and they'd never heard of it and even asked me to
fax it on to them. Of course, you wouldn't expect one hand to know what the
other was doing.
