Hello Everybody:
We have a scout in our unit that asked how a scout can earn\achieve\be \
be awarded the Hornaday Conservation Medal. I told him that it is a council
award but I did not know much more than that. I assume a scout should have
earned most if not all of the conservation merit badges, such as
Environmental Science, Fish and Wildlife Management, Forestry, Nature, Soil
and Water Conservation, etc. However, does anyone know what councils usually
look for in awarding a scout the Hornaday Bronze or Silver Medal Award ? What
types of projects do they like, or what types of experiences should the scout
have had.
Any info regarding this would be extremely helpful. Thanks !
