  There is a configuration/setup program with each one. You basically
just tell it what directory you want it in...but, the doors have to 
be registered to participate in InterBBS competition. You then have
to edit the configuration files (with a text editor) to the correct
values...so everyone is on an equal playing field.

  As of this year, it was $16.95 per year...further information is
on his website, www.sunrisedoors.com -- that fee is whether you 
take part in one or all of the doors...I run the 16-bit doors
myself. Of the 16-bit doors, the Cribbage door is FREEWARE now,
but you still have to pay the InterBBS fee. 

  Once you pay the fee, you're given information needed to access 
the FTP server for the scores (a special program is provided)...
and once that is set up, it's all automated...you can run that 
utility as many times per day as you desire...scores are updated 
every 30 minutes on his website. That would be the best way to 
see which doors are the most popular.
