U. S. and International law or treaty. And probably any nation that has
satellites in orbit.

    No. I didn't say he was a criminal or even imply such.  I gave what I think
was a reasoned argument why one could be at least suspect of participating
in a conspiracy if they had discussed ways of doing something clearly
illegal and then a party to that discussion takes an overt act to effect
the crime.  You may
have to prove that you had no intention of actually doing or attempting to
do the crime. That could be under U. S. law and probably your nation too. 
If one person committed a crime against you and you found out that he had
discussed how
to do it with someone else I think you would suspect that someone else was
a party to the crime and would think he should at least be investigated to
determine if that were true. I sure would.



    No part of that post was directed at any particular person of any
particular
nationality. But more so to persons in the U. S.

    Why would you be offended?  And why would you want to discuss such a thing
that could, if someone presented a viable means, weaken the defenses of
nations of the free peoples of the world from the evil nations and people
of the world who would rather to see you dead or living in the same
disgusting manner as they
live instead of working to bring themselves to your level?  Would you post
on the internet ideas you have on how to disable an Australian Navy combat
ship?

    I don't think Americans are arrogant.  We know what we have here and we
know
it is worth risking our lives to protect.  We frequently risk our lives to
improve the lot of others also.  If you thought you would get an apology
from me, OK.  I am sorry you don't understand that civilization is in a war
for its existence against those who would like to take us all with them
back the the caveman days.

    I thought Australia was one of those free nations of the world.  Are you
going to let your freedom be taken away without a fight?  That is what
those assholes want to do.  They want to be on top by bringing the top to a
lower level than the very bottom they occupy. Give peace a chance? Go
reason with the psychotics and see if you don't end up at the bottom with
them. They don't want to raise civilization they want to take it down. They
don't want to talk to you.

    The call now is to negotiate with North Korea.  I thought we had already
and
that is the trouble.  They got from us what we agreed to give in the
negotiated deal and didn't deliver on their side.  Sounds like they want to
negotiate what they want from us now (the U. S.) in return for nothing from
them.  Who's side you on with this one?  You will be in range of their
bombs long before I will. Do you want the arrogant U. S. of A having to
come over there and save your ass or would you rather do it yourself? Yes.
I will be willing to come save your ass
if necessary. Well your countrymen's collective ass. But I would rather you help
some too.  You want us to take them out after they nuke Sydney or before
they have the means?  Look at North Korea's history and tell me you know
they would never do that.

    And the Iraq thing. Yes. It is about oil.  Oil is what all of civilization
runs on and even the uncivilized.  Are you going to let some jackass
murdering dictator bring all of civilization to its knees. Start chopping
your heating wood now.  You will need much of it. Get a horse too.

    And I suppose you think the U. S in it's arrogance is supporting  Israel
(that is that democracy in the middle east) because we like seeing the
Palestinians oppressed.  We had brokered a deal (a good one for both sides)
that
would have put a Palestinian state into existence.  Arafat wouldn't sign. 
He wanted power and to run the Jews into the sea more than he wanted a
state, peace, and a good life for his people.  And where have the Arab
nations been. Their only help to the Palestinians has been to pay the
families of suicide murderers. They certainly don't want the Palestinians
in their countries and don't really seem to want a Palestinian state
either. Indeed the Jews actually do more for the Palestinians than the
Arabs. I'm sure you don't see that. You are to busy criticizing the side of
good instead of the side of evil. I am not saying Palestinians are evil. 
What passes for their leadership is. I truly hope
the Palestinians have their state, peace, and prosperity. Just as I believe most
arrogant Americans and others of the free world including Israel do also.

    The U. S. has the power AND THE OBLIGATION to use it when necessary to
maintain our way of life. When I say "our" I mean yours and mine
and all of the peoples of free nations.  If the U. S. shirks it's
responsibility or is otherwise put off from it's duties to the world some
other nation will surely use it's power and you might not like their ideas
as much as the arrogant Americans' ideas of how your life should be.  We
don't stick our noses somewhere
for the fun of being a super-power.  It is an obligation, a duty to all
mankind to make sure the forces of evil, of which there are many, NEVER
even stand a chance of winning.  We don't like it.  It is just necessary. 
And we have to listen to all that crap from people who are "on our
side" bellyache about how the arrogant Americans send their soldiers
to battle, and some to death as a result, on just a whim (all those dead
bodies of good people) to fight for right
that you should be fighting for too.  If you were really on our side, the
side of humanity and human rights, you would consider yourself one of us
ARROGANT FREE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD who are against the rights of dictators
and despots to
put sand in the gears of human rights, and personal freedoms, and the rule
of law and are willing to use what ever power necessary to do so.

    Want to get a good idea of the correctness of my thinking?  You who think
that is all we Americans are is arrogant people bullying the world wish the
other side good luck as you become one of them with a picture of your
favorite dictator prominately displayed on the wall where your family
portrait used to be.  But don't use your power to protect your way of life.
That would be soooo arrogant of you.

    I am Proud to be an American, as Australians should be proud of being
Australians. And I hope yours and your family's and people's of all nations
of the World can have a way of life as nice as mine.  Hope no one ever
wants to take it from you if you aren't willing to fight and die if
necessary to keep it for your offspring. Millions have died to achieve and
sustain what you seem so ready to let despots take from you and later
generations.

    Actually I do believe Australia is on the same side as the U. S.  in which
case it is not the U. S. side only. It is also Australia's side. It should
be everyone's side. Are you against those arrogant Aussies some of whom
died in Bali at the hands of those "poor misunderstood souls"
that just don't like civilized people? Do you think those murdering crazies
advanced any good cause by their actions or that they were even trying to? 
Do you think you can negotiate with that enemy?

    I certainly respect your right to disagree.  But I will exercise my right
to
say you are an idiot. Reading your post I know who's side you are on.  I
will suggest to you that perhaps Americans are not arrogant.  May be that
we are the ones that have the backbone and where with all to do what is
necessary even in the face of the whiners who know all of their rights but
know nothing of their obligations. Resolve in the face of condemnation of
those who are quick to blame
the U. S. as a bully rather than condemn the evil that threatens us all. It
is time to choose a side. Those who condemn us for using our might to
sustain right
have chosen their side.

    Some Americans share your view. We have a right to be fools also.
Fortunately I believe most Americans and Australians and New Zealanders and
Japanese Canadians and European democracies and Indians and ... well....
all the
peoples of those democracies of the world are not fools. They are all on
the side of good.  Some must step up a bit more than they have.  America is
serious.
We aren't playing. We know what is at stake and we will win. Go on and call
us names. Will you be ashamed that you chose the side of evil when the U.
S. does the heavy lifting of keeping you free to do so.

    You might take time out from your whining about imperialist U. S. A. and
thank your god, whichever one it is, that the U. S. has the balls to
protect that which you don't seem to hold too dearly. And that we don't
just throw up our hands and say you aren't worth standing up for. You can
bet your ass, and indeed it seems you are willing, you won't have your
freedoms long if we do. Australia is a strong country with brave people but
China would step on you in a
heartbeat. But we won't do that because we are in this together.  We need
you too. Why don't you get on board with the good side of the battle?

    If you answered yes to any of those questions that could be answered by a
yes or no you do not have to be worried about being blinded by a laser.  You are
already blind.
