   That's what I thought, too.  I don't know *exactly* when Kings' writing 
 career began, but at the earliest I thought it was late 60s or early 70s.

   That's what I thought, too.  He's often quoted or made references to 
 rock songs in his books, and this seemed quite an obvious one to me.
