I'm writing an enhanced REName command for Windows95 long filenames.

I'd want it to capitalize the filename extention; capitalize the first
character of the file or directory name and the first character after a
nonalphabetical character (hypens, spaces and so). Any characters that do not
fall into the above rules are set to lowercase. (Does that make sense?)
As such, I want to be able to process each file or directory name on a
case by case basis. I'd like to be able to give the BTM the option (feature)
to navigate, parse and process all files and sub-directories in a directory
tree.
Thanks you for your sample code, I'll take a look at it and see if I can
use it to the above ends. (of course giving proper credit when I post the end
product in this echo ;-)
Now as far and creating a collection of snippets for 4DOS BTM's, I've
started a collection here and am adding any examples that are posted in this
echo. However it's only got a few examples at this time. When I get these
sorted out, I'll make it available for file requesting and possibly post in
on
the internet. If anyone would like to contribute to this file, please feel
free to netmail (routed or direct) to 1:2424/217.
I don't have a working email address at the moment but should to shortly.
