Hitler's rise to power was in no small measure the result of the idiotic
terms imposed on Germany by the Allies. There was never any possibility of
Germany adhering indefinitely to the terms of the Versailles Treaty. If not
Hitler, it would have been someone else.

Yet, you say we should have started another war to continue enforcement of
unenforceable treaty provisions. Makes no sense whatsoever. Not to mention
that the Republican isolationists would have had fits at the very idea. In
affect, Gary, get real.
