From what you've said so far, I think your MIL would be unhappy with
a single play, she's gonna want a changer.  The only problem you'll
have, is you will have to take out the original mounting plate, and
cut a new one (there should be a template with whatever unit you buy),
in consoles like this, usually 1/4" plywood.
