It's people like you who try to make people fear voicing their opinions
that stifle freedom and the free world. It appears America is less and less
able to speak freely without fear of interference and it is people like you
who lead the charge.

Is a dictator a person who unilaterally tells everyone what to do? Who is
the dictator? which nation is rapidly becoming the autocracy of the world?

please put the two sentences "The US has the power and the
obligation" and "I will suggest to you that perhaps Americans are

Ooh getting personal aren't we, So you know what side I'm on eh. That's got
to be pretty arrogant methinks but your own President said "You're
either with us or against us in the fight against terror."

current argument I must be against the US

Many nations in the UN don't like that argument either and it is also an
arrogant statement. It is akin to saying that there is only black and white
or fire and water. A highly simplistic view of the world indeed. Is your
way the only way to make a telescope or grind a mirror? There must be only
one right or good way according this logic.

Strong action should be taken against terrorists but I do object to
arrogant, unilateral and undue use of power to force the world into a plan
authored by one nation alone. What about cooperative action. Your
President's current tactics at the UN border on undemocratic and that is to
be resiled. Perhaps "regime change" is the only way for the US
:-) Is the winner of your last election Gore? still available?

But then your whole argument is plainly internally inconsistent.

Now why do you think I might criticise people who use fear to stifle
reasonable criticism and opinion. You attempted to use fear of regulation
and prosecution to stifle innocent discussion about the laser pointers and
again in an attempt to railroad the worlds opinion about the most
appropriate course of action. See your next statement fear again. No wonder
you tire and irritate me. I am so scared I think we should go to war to win
the next Presidential election, get some oil and crush an easy target(s)?
Can we beat China up next can we can we huh please.

As I have said you do not have to approve of tactics of fear,
unilateralism, greed, arrogance to be on the side of the good and just and
against terrorists who as you point out have also targeted my country. You
do not have to necessarily respond by going for soft targets that have
spurious links to terrorism. The US should lead by example and destroy it's
own weapons of mass destruction.

And you dare to talk about good and evil.

Lastly you disgust me for posting my off-list post on-list.
