| subject: | Re: AW: WIN XP access to PNW server ? |
From: Gary Welles Michal Tyc writes: > You can access PNW server from Windows 3.1, if you install the client > that comes with DR-DOS. . . . I was thinking of the DOS clients and that the PNW protocol stack and the Win/XP stack could share the same NIC at some level. If you had trouble, you could get DOS PNW clients working from a bootable floppy and then move on to getting same to work from Win/XP. You may have to not load the Win/XP protocol stack while you get the DOS stack working from Win/XP, before trying to get them to share. It seems the worst case, you'd need a second NIC for a PNW prototocol stack. -- Gary Welles --- Internet Rex 2.29* Origin: The gateway at Capitol City Online (1:2320/105.999) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
