The engine was basically built very well, but it turned out to have a bad casting in the piston so that there was some metal missing underneath the piston and a tiny pinhole in the top of the piston. For a long time I couldn't figure out why it didn't run right. If you can get another piston for it, you got it made. The engine really looks like it's built strong. Right now I don't think you can buy parts for it from SuperTiger. I do have an old Cox .049 Baby Bee. It must be 25 years old or something like that. Well, neither of my engines are antiques, but let me know if you are interested in either of them. The SuperTiger has a nice carb on it, too. It uses the "half-moon" mounting system. A few years ago someone gave me an old (and I mean *old*) K&B .35 with a very old-style clarinet-type valve that covered the exhaust stack when you throttled down. Jeez, this thing must have been one of their first R/C engines. It was brand new, too. Perfect compression--everything. I don't remember what I did with it. I may have thrown it out or given it away. I can look around for it, though. Might be tucked away somewhere. I didn't think anyone would ever want something like that. RICHARD AUSILI ...
