So that confused you guys eh?   Sorry about that.   It looks as if the
first part of getting Fidonet over internet using  Binkd on a Mac OSX 
computer is working.   The  files it uses will work with MacKennel.   I
need to figure out how to make the sessions happen automatically though.  
I am currently moving the compressed  packet files  between the folders
used by Binkd and MacKennel manually, extracting the incoming ones 
manually from within MK and then importing them. Binkd appears to  be
flexible enough to use other pathanmes for the packet folders, including
remote mounted folders, but I'll have to figure out how to extract them
automatically (probably using an applescript and Stuffit), how to tell MK
to look for inbound packets,  and if inbound packets  are present import
them using the hubs fidonet address.


The saga continues.
