Charles,
Thankyou for stating the point to my benefit. I am not an NRA member. I am
not a free loader either. I constantly call to berate, congratulate,
cajole, corral, etc. every legislator within the reach of e-mail on rtkba
related issues. I am not above licking a few stamps to get to those who
aren't. Every news director in this area knows me by the sound of my voice,
because I call them and give them a piece of my mind every time a gun
related story is on TV--- pro or con. I think that the NRA has done a good
job of working for us lately (not always, but lately). I don't join them
because I don't want to be hit with the old "You're just another one of
those gun happy NRA types." crap. I can honestly say that I am an
*independent* citizen trying to preserve my 2nd Amendment rights right
alongside their 1st Amendment rights.
