Hello All, I am interested in doing a simple query with multiple choices. Example: I have one data base with SPEAKER, ADDRESSEE, DATE, SPEECH fields. I have a set number of speakers, so I wish to be able just to choose from a list of names instead of having to type it in every time. Also, I wish to be able to cross reference words in the speeches. Instead of typing ..word.. in the query is there any way just to get it to ask me which word I'm looking for? End run, I would just like to have something like the OBEX address book with pull down menus for someone else that has zero understanding about databases. By using a pushbutton, you could grab the search values from fields on the form for your query, fill in the query and use the ExecuteQBE (doing it from memory) command to extract the data. You can add a menu to the form for ease of use. Look in the objectpal books. Good luck, Craig. --------------- >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LAST Message In Thread <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 119 PARADOX Ref: CC200001 Date: 08/01/95 From: LANGLEY MCKELVY Time: 12:19pm \/To: JIM PURCELL (Read 7 times) Subj: mp2?
