Not to mention the spread of various diseases & insect species which are
  limited by the cold.

If this warm spell continues I expect malaria to become a rich country
problem once more.

However the much larger threat will simply come from changing rainfall
patterns. People often forget that the real WMD are natural & involve
water & heat dispersion patterns.

But like I say....buy land in Canada & Russia....away form the sea or
at a nice height....

"Buy beach front property for your grandkids".....
