I think we can both agree that the death penalty laws as they are
currently carried out, are absurd, and even counter to good order.
If one is concerned with minimizing loss of innocent life, then
after conviction for murder, one only has to consider whether the
convict fits the profile of those who try to kill or escape while
in prison, and just execute those.
I think further, that execution is a poorly used resource. Spoze
the state filmed them and sold them as 'snuff films', and used
the proceeds to improve the schools and child protection services
which would prevent some murderers from developing in the first
place? Along that line, I would hold gladatorial matches which
would probly draw enough to make a ton of money for that purpose.
