SB>RR>hee hee! well, my last project was an advertising brochure...so i gu
SB> >most anything would qualify as reality after that! :)
SB>
SB>Grin! One of the most frustrating projects in the world. Often one of
SB>the more lucrative for a free lancer, however.
yeah...it's always seemed to me that there are 2 kinds of jobs: ones that
people luv, but dont pay; & ones that people dont like, but pay well. my
idea of heaven is to find a job i luv which pays well...as if!
SB>RR>how are you feeling? how's the kid doing?
SB>
SB>I'm doing really well, even with this heat and drought.
good! glad to hear it! :)
SB>Here in the True South Jersey, which is south of the Philadelphia
SB>metropolitan area, and south of the mason-dixon line, tempertures have
rofl!!! wouldnt that be the florio-whitman line, right thru the middle of
trenton?
SB>been running over 100 most of the summer; and farmers I know have
SB>already depleted their irrigation ponds. Is it as bad up there in North
SB>Jersey?
fer sure. my lawn is brown! i dont really mind, tho, because this grass
is so aggressive it gets into everything. the strawberries, kiwi & fruit
trees seem not to mind a bit, tho. altho the reservoirs are supposedly
75% full, we were under a water restriction alert--no lawn watering
or car washing. (ya dont have to tell ME twice not to wash the car! :> )
i did sneak some water to the raspberries because the crop is very
small this year...altho something is eating most of it!
SB>I did see rain, however. I went to a conference in Allentown,
SB>Pennsylvania; and it actually rained there one day. There was a
SB>tornado, too; which touched land a mile away from where I was standing
SB>when I first saw this funnel shaped cloud moving. I actually stood
SB>outside (next to the building, so I could run for shelter if the tornado
SB>moved toward me), and watched it turning in the distance.
wow...way cool!
SB>It was
SB>probably a stupid thing to do; but, heck, when the only weather you've
SB>seen for weeks has been brilliant blue skies, anything else is
SB>wonderful!
what fun is life if ya cant do stupid things once in a while? i
prolly woulda done the same thing because i've never seen a tornado!
SB>Rob is being a pain right now; partially because he's 14.
i remember 14--& i would *never* wanna be 14 again!
SB>I've decided to let him enter 9th grade in the fall.
you're letting him go to a real school? there goes his education! ;)
