I take it you haven't been on a boat much! Part of it is the rocking and rolling that makes many people seasick. The other is the ability to walk "steadily" on a yawing and pitching deck without getting bounced off of the boat! The object is to keep you torso in a steady position as the deck moves under you. Some people can do it easily. I know my son and daughter have the ability as do I. OTOH, my ex simply got seasick! Many people need a day or two to acclimate to rolling deck. That's known as "getting your sea-legs". Getting rid of them is the reverse process. The solid land seems to move even though it isn't! I've always enjoyed my first days of racing for the night's sleep. The room "rocked" me to sleep even though it was on dry land. Many people don't like that feeling though. ... I'm not seasick...I'm looking for a good spot to fish. --- OMX/Blue Wave/DOS v2.30* Origin: Soundly on the Fault Line (1:123/666.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/666 500 106/2000 633/267 |
