Well, the reaction would be the same whether he won on November 2nd or not,
as he'd be in office until January 20th, 2005. As to what it would be,
that's hard to say and would depend on the ability to pinpoint the source,
I would expect though that it'd be very similar to his past track record:
Solid, decisive, and rapid.

Right now, he is trading information with Putin behind the scenes, both to
help Putin in his newly upgraded anti-terrorist options by trading
intelligence, and to be sure that Putin's efforts are coordinated with, and
beneficial rather than harmful to, our own efforts. The enemy is common to
all of the civilized world and were we attacked right before the election
and had we solid information, the retaliation would be a combined effort
with other nations, most likely Russia since the source would most likely
from that region that just supplied the terrorists to kill 100s of children
in School No. 1.

What would Kerry do? I have no idea (and don't think he does either) but
you can be almost certain that going to the UN would be at, or near, the
top of the list. Which effectively means nothing (or are the people that
haven't already been mowed down in Darfur eating ice cream cones right
now?)
