subject: Banksia VOICE pocket modem ???

Here's a weird one : I knew about the Banksia SOHO series MyPocketModems,
but I never knew they made a voice model.

Yet I bought a non-working MyPocketModem the other day, and on popping the
hood, what do I find but an RCV144DPL (V.32bis data, G3 fax, VOICE)
datapump. So after fixing the modem, I type : AT#CLS=? and hey presto, I
get 0,1,2,8. So the firmware support is there as well as the datapump.

Does anyone know if this was an actual model, or whether it is just an
undocumented bonus ? I've posted a msg to Banksia's CIS ID but no response
yet. The modem has only 32K RAM, so I'm not sure if it will be usable as a
voice modem, but I might get round to installing some voice s/w and test
later.
