| subject: | Re: unbuffered io, linux, mod |
Jasen Betts was once heard saying. -> MM> I use linux, and I want to know how to use unbuffered io -> for the -> MM> screen, files, etc. Under dos I used conio's getch() and Heh... when I need unbuffered I/O, I cheat :). Just write a quick function or define that calls fflush on the stream you're writing to. I'm not sure of the performance implications this brings about... but it's quick and painless. eric # Origin: Passport Unofficial BBS [The PUB] - telnet://bbs.ipass.net --- FBBSEcho Version 1.02 BETA* Origin: Passport Unoffical BBS - The [PUB] - bbs.ipass.net (1:250/102.2) SEEN-BY: 396/1 622/419 632/0 371 633/260 267 270 371 634/397 635/506 728 810 SEEN-BY: 639/252 670/218 @PATH: 250/102 201 99 396/1 633/260 635/506 728 633/267 |
