Earlier this year I subscribed to a series of leather bound books being
republished by the NRA. Eventhough this is a fund raiser, the prices
for the books are reasonable.
I now have six of these fine volumes. Each of which is quality bound
with a leather color in different colors. Each cover is printed and
decorated in gold. Each is unique, but obviously a part of a unified
colection. So far I have received:
"The Rifle in America" Philip B. Sharp, brown leather
"Guns of the Old West" Chas. Edw. Chapel, red leather
"The Gun and its Development" W. W. Greener, green leather
"Textbook of Pistols and Revolvers" Julian S. Hatcher, burgundy leather
"Shotguns" Elmer Keith, tan leather
"African Rifles and Cartridges" John Taylor, green leather
The second book was a free promotional item and was shipped with the
first. Each of the others cost around $44 including shipment.
This is a great collection and a must for anyone interested in guns,
books, history and in helping the NRA save our valuable national
heritage.
