subject: How neat!

->
-> Yippee!  Good for you!
Its up and done...and I'm learning how to use the tiniest drum sander on
the planet!
-> -> It's my guest room and you won't believe what I have to go through
-> -> when Tom's sister comes for a visit!
My dad had invention for my my mom's sweing room and for my brother's
bedroom that you may find interesting:
4' x 8' plywood board availalbe in any lumber yard....if you NEED a
smooth surface be sure to buy the interior grade that looks smooth on
both sides....its a coupla more bucks, but whole it for aesthetics.
Then he put four eye-screws at the four corners of the board.
Then he put four eye-screws in the ceiling at the same dimensional
loacations as those on the plywood.
Then he put three eye-screws into the ceiling:
X                           X
O           O               O
X                           X
And ran nylon clothline cord from the x's on the borad through the S's
on the ceiling...then over to the o's (pick either direction and stick
to it)
And then he's put a cleat on the wall at an appropraite height.
So...in an instant my brother's train set could be converted into their
bedroom, or my mother's sewing project-in-progress could be flown on the
ceiling of the den and a party take place right underneath it.
Check with your local hardward expert about proportion eye-screw sizes
and weight limitations for this rig. But my Dad's configuration could
hold about to about 50 pounds of materials in addition to the wight of
the rig itself.
