I am in the market NOW (preferably on or before the 30th of this month!)
for a new GSM handset and the PCMCIA modem (must be 9600bps data) to match
it. Please : I am ONLY INTERESTED in hearing from a supplier who can supply
BOTH ITEMS at one time.

The best quote I have so far is just under $1500, unencumbered (N2110e and
DTP-2 faxmodem, no contracts) from Optus. I think I can do very much
better, since this is also the ONLY quote I have thus far 8-)

I would prefer a handset which takes a fullsize SIM, eg Motorola 8200/8400.
(Is the 7200 data capable? If so, I can just buy the modem as I already
have a couple of these phones).
