A diesel sports car?   To some degree I guess it does to me too, now
that I think about it some more .    Although I would love to get
some on-road driving experience with one to support that, rather than just
driving around the yard a twork.

But the point that I forgot to make is that, as far as I know, the 4-door
Golf TDI is *not* classed as a sports car.
