If you are having problems with a nettcomm modem, dont muck around with it
take it to nettcomm or your dealer, and get it fixed under the warantee

If you mess around with opening the case, and "fixing" things with a 
soldering iron, nettcomm might tell you to stick your modem, and your
guarantee up your jacksee.

Seriously, dont mess around with it.
