But there were thousands of USN flyers. So serve in the navy & then go
on to serve as pol bigwig = ship named after you (& while you're still
alive...)???
Why not keep good old fashioned "vitues" & desireable things
as the basis for names (Independance, Victorious, Valiant etc).
Great Admirals...sure...(dead ones). Great naval Battles....sure...but
living pols? State's names for capital ships..sure.
It's a scam to try & get tax payer's cash shoveled into the navy via vain pols.
