} (he hasn't yet best I can tell)...
I believe that's a bug in your drawing program. Since various comm
programs treat column 80 differently, no assumption should be made
about the position of the cursor after a character is placed there.
The drawing program could either: (1) insert a cr/lf at the end of the
line (maybe you can configure it to do that), or (2) always start a
new line with a definite cursor position.
Please enlighten me if I misunderstand the problem.
