Hello Daniel. 12 Feb 04 09:17, you wrote to me: DL> Joe Knapp's system at 130/803 is now my connection. No, this is not a problem. That's basically how the seenby information is formatted. As far as I know, this information has always been two-dimensional (net/node), and if you look to the right of your listing, the net number for you is inherited from your uplink, given that you're in the same net. I'm certain that someone on the FTSC could give you a mind-numbing discussion about this in FTSC_PUBLIC, but the long and short is "Don't worry." Most of the stuff developed these days is aimed at folks who want to use Fidonet with Unix. I know some of the newer tools would probably compile for use with OS X -- I know one guy got it running with BeOS, which seemed to be popular with many of us people with Apple backgrounds -- but in your case, classic Mac software is limited. Within the realm of the Apple II (the focus of this echo), Fruity Dog is even more out-dated, and I'll be damned if I can turn up the people who wrote the software. I've known one guy to run Fruity Dog in recent days, and I haven't seen him in awhile. As far as the Mac stuff goes, you and Walter may be the last (at least in Zone 1).
