 Hello Poe

I don't get -8.4dB on modem connections. In fact I have never
recieved anything higher than -10dB on data connections. It is
only with fax that I get as high as -8.4dB and then only using
the US code. I have a friend that did the same thing with his
Maestro 144 fax modem and he was right on the Telstra
recommended levels. I don't know whether there is any difference
between 28.8k and 14.4k modems as far as send/receive levels are
 concerned.
