Whilst at a peace talk about PCM coding, President Rod Speed said to
President Kris Roebuck:

Okay, going over my notes again, what I should have of asked was "Are we
ever going to have the opertunity to ditch our telephones and modems in
favour of Codecs and DSUs?"

 RS> The Coalition promised big changes on ISDN pricing etc, it
 RS> remains to be seen what gets delivered on those promises tho.

I have no faith in Little Johnny Coward.  These promises will probably only
be delivered in you happen to be a mate of his.

It would be nice of Tel$tra got their act together and started being more
competitive towards Optus.
