I don't advocate confiscation of privately owned guns, Sam.  Where do
you get this stuff?  Probably from the same place you get some of your
other opinions.

You'll discover, if you look it up,  that my posts to gun groups have
almost all had to do with the morality of gun use, the truth of
various claims about the relationship of gun ownership to crime, the
motivations and intentions of armed right wing extremists, and
discussions of the second amendment.  Disagreeing with fruitcake
militia interpretations of the second amendment is not the same as
advocating gun confiscation, by the way.

If you look it up, you'll notice I have been consistent in defending
the right of armed private groups who are actually minding their own
business, like the Branch Davidians, to be left alone by the
government.  "Minding their own business" is the key, here, by the
way, which is why I have defended David Khoresh and his followers, and
condemned the Republic of Texas loons, who used their guns to kidnap
and terrorize their neighbors.
