->  Ano> that AutoBAD 13 is CRAP (even with a Pentium 133 + 32mb RAM +
-> Ano> Windows NT) R12 is better (for my *excessive* requirements!)
-> Too right in fact apart from the Bhatch, DDedit, CHT text
-> editing R10 was fine, the 3D junk stuffed in R12 is not for
->  us.
Let us not forget implied windowing, locking layers and cpoly for those
complex stretches. And grips deserve mention for quick stretching or
moving, especially with dimensions!
I just haven't liked any odd-numbered releases lately it seems.

-> Ever scaled and then can't scale it back 'cos it's a nasty fraction
->  the other way
-> And many other instances where you know the ratio as two numbers?
-> Try this, when you are asked for numerical input type "Cal" or
-> " 'Cal " the output from the cal function is piped back as the
->  numerical input :-))
Umm, is this better in someway to the Reference option?
I use reference for scaling and rotating unknown or inexact values
to desired ones. Say I know what the distance between two points should
be. I pick the distance directly on the entity(s) and then enter the
needed length. Similar with rotate also. Seems you could input your
values the same way.
                                        Just drafting,
                                                  Joe

Some like to think draftsmen will fade out. Perhaps:
When an engineer can explain something in plain language,
When an engineer can draw within standards,
When an engineer can do the tedious parts over and over,
When an engineer can make revisions w/o taking it personally,
When an engineer will accept the pay of a draftsman,
Then, maybe, but I doubt it.
