  thanks for the reply, but this routine wont work. As I said in my
last msg im not after the usual Mem[$A000:Pos] routine, I need one for
mode $12. Thing with mode $12 you need to change the bit-planes as in
mode-x. THe reason for this is there is more that 64K of screen
area, so the routine youve supplied, sadly wont work. If anyone knows
howto plot a pixel in mode $12, without using slowwww interupts please
