Thank you kindly that's probably it ;-) I don't know anyone else
locally to be programming in PB so I was believing the
documentation (at least to begin with).
To move this discussion forward can you provide any other reason
beside this for someone like myself to upgrade? PB was purchased
as an "upgrade" to my original version 1.0 of TurboBasic which I
had been using for many years. I use PB for writing "throwaway"
utilities and the occasional "real" program. Ver 3.1 addresses
many of the limiting factors I had encountered with TB and I'm
very pleased to have upgraded. I know the new PB has pointers
and I know C programmers "love" pointers but I've never
developed a taste for them myself. I'm probably cutting myself
off from a great tool but at the moment that's how I feel ;-)
Are there any other major improvements that someone who does not
make his living programming would really like?
