I caught just the end of a thread about coffee, and have a
question...
I've heard rumours that caffeine can act as a mild
medication (often used in self-medicating) for ADD... Is
this true?
I've no diagnosis with adult ADD, but if that were what I
have and caffeine did have an affect, it could explain why
my life goes to hell every time I try to cut back on
caffeine (I estimate my daily caffeine intake at about 400
or more milligrams, with ill effects usually only if I go
over that amount).
There are, of course, other reasons I believe I have ADD
(mostly based on reading Driven to Distraction, which reads
like my life story), but this is an interesting aspect as
well...
Anyway, talk to all later...
... Can I yell "movie" in a crowded firehouse?
