It is true that they're Customer Service leaves much to be desired.
I purchased a modem from them by mail after seeing it in APC or PCWorld or both.
When I rang to inquire about the modem they were very rude saying they
can't tie up lines talking about it as it is an order line and then saying
that all the information was in the advertisement.
I have had lots of problems with it, one of which is getting a reply from
John Rich to my messages.
The worst thing is that make out that you are low life and stupid if the
modem doesn't work and say that they haven't had any problems.
John has adnitted later that they have had Dead On Arrival problems.
It leaves a lot to be desired........
Now I see that self tests don't work.....If this means that the modem is
faulty I'll be telling them to stick their modem and I will want my money
back....
I don't think I'm being unreasonable as this is the third modem that I got
from them before I got one to at least work.
Cheers
John
