I know what you mean.   Most of what's around here (TDIs anyway) are
3-4 years old....just in the age range where the quality was still
'iffy'.   We're starting to see some of the '04 VW company cars come
through the auction now, so I'll have to start watching my local dealers
and see if any of them turn up .   (No, we can't buy
directly at the auction :-(( ).
