Those guys were the absolute coolest, and I haven't seen any group of guys
make computing fun like they did.  I don't know that they'd remember me,
but I remember talking to guys like Mark Simonsen on the tech line and
thinking that I was talking to one of the gods of Asgard.  We were on a
call with him and a few others one time, and the line just went quiet.  We
could hear voices in the background, so we knew we weren't cut off.  A
minute later, we got them back, with "Sorry, but it's raining here in
San Diego, and as that doesn't happen very often, we were all running to
the windows to see it." :-)
