Could be... After all, it IS a beta. Maybe giving as many details as 
possible to PATRICK MOORE is the best you can do right now...
I also use Qmodem for DOS (QMPro 1.53 under Win95) and have a new 
SupraFAX 288 external. last flash I even forgot to reset the DTE, but 
it worked at 115.2!
One more thought -- make sure you have the right flasher. There are 
different ones for the Internal and External models, with only a digit 
difference in the file name.
