BC> DS> I recently read a article in a sci fi magazine with a interview
BC> DS> with Rick Berman with him stating that this is the last year for
BC> DS> DS9.(The series will end this year.) Thoe I beleive this is true by
BC>I certainly hope not. I don't like the idea of Voyager being the only
rek
BC>show to watch. Maybe they'll extend it to another season like they did
with
BC>TNG.
I know what you mean, but I think we're approaching, if not at, Trek
burnout. We've had series Trek for 10 years now, much of the time with
more than one series on at the same time. I know that while I love
Trek, and wish I could see it more often, it doesn't distress me to miss
it the way it used to. I've just seen so much. The reason TNG was so
well received was that people had been essentially without Trek - and
totally without series Trek - for nearly 10 years. THey were eager.
Now, it's like, "Trek? Yeah, we've got that."
