Hello Tim:
I've printed this entire msg. out, the reason for deletion.
I'm sure it will come in handy in Florida, while shopping around.
TH> I had considered using an electric water heater as a backup

TH> Well, a single 40-tank of the design I mentioned I think would suit a
TH> mobile nicely. However, I note that you live in Canada. The winter
TH> days are shorter. It would be importand to use lots of insulation, and
TH> an insulated cover to keep the heat in at night. If you don't do that,
TH> the water going into your regular water heater could actually be
TH> colder than the origional water supply. You would actually loose
TH> money.
ER> Haven't heard from anyone in Florida, but it should be the same
> in California........right?
TH> The problem with Florda is staying cool.
True, although it wasn't difficult last year with the cold spell that
lasted a couple of months (Jan & Feb).
I went back into one of our Workshop Books (April 1980) and there was a
system in it, that told us how to make it.
We haven't completely ruled out the Hot Water on Demand yet.
The existing system in the Mobil is 20 - 25 gallons with a 40 gallon
backup Solar System, should give us more than enough water, we think!
Can't thank you enough for all this help. Really appreciate it.
Elaine
