I relize this, but most "network drivers" support the fossil specification 
because it is more complete for communications, including multicharacter 
transmits and more reliable control over what the thing is doing, as such, 
there are a lot of telnet drivers that support fossil, and int 14 only works
because fossil is a superset of the bios int 14...
