Jay,
I was as surprised as you were when I first received around 3000 pieces of
this crap and the next day another close to 1000.
I manually deleted them one by one but kept a few for checks... when I look
into the message-headers they all show origin 3.800.857.0 and that's not
Elvis' place...
I believe you can stuff the complete contents of the Bible into this echo
thru' the Internet if you want to.
Keen people with programming capabilities could reprogram a mail tosser and
have it spitting out 1000 messages complete with fake adresses and fake
senders even in random cycle... I did not check but I believe some of the
messages were repeated 4 or 5 times.
You know about vandals who hijack your car and wreck it on the next joyride?
Sure you don't personally know them, and they don't know nothing about you
but it sure was your car they picked!
Tho' I'm not the moderator here, I suggest we switch to netmail discussing
this thread and stay on-topic for the echo itself
Let's try to stay straight-&-level!
