I dropped the uploader part, that was maybe something good 10 years ago.

The filename is now restricted to 80 characters total. It could wrap to the
next line if it's really long, but I doubt if we would see such long names,
you would need a filename of 71 characters before it wraps.

It doesn't and in de database there is still the 8.3 name. This is needed
for mailer transfers for some protocols. File downloads were already done
with long filenames. The display was just the only missing part.
