TOS had three, barely (it was nearly cancelled after the second season).
Perhaps it's because I grew up watching TOS, but it's my favorite.  If
you want boring, take some of TNG's humanity-is-perfect-and-will-never-
fight-each-other-again-because-we're-past-all-that-now episodes.  You
take out conflict, and you take out story - which is why TNG's ideology
wound up frequently giving away to the need for a plot.
