Hi Spence
I noticed your message re: training a filly and I wondered from these
comments:

trained

Now, I love animals, all animals and I am fascinated with horses with
their power and grace. You say you have trained both horses and dogs??
Well, what would you suggest to a person who wants to learn more about
horses? Should they read books?? Should they go to a formal
riding class. I know I worked as a groom for an Equestrian Center and
the owner was a jerk, He yelled at all of the riders, and he gave me a
week to learn about being a groom when I was trying to learn from two
grooms who either spoke very broken english, or didn't speak any english
at all, and I can tell you I learned better from the guy who didn't
speak a word of english, and I don't speak spanish, he just showed me
what to do better than the other guy with the broken english. The owner
after the week told me I wasn't fast enough at grooming. But I do know
of another place which teaches English riding and Western riding. I've
ridin a horse before but it was years ago, I was only 10-12 years old
and I am 33 now. What do you suggest.
