David, first a HUGE thanks for the detailed reporting of your 10/22
conversion. This is a project that I've been considering for quite a while
myself and you've just me the push to overcome my inertia. The only thing
that I've been considering is a different chamber/throat form as suggested by
Ed Harris in an article several years ago. Alas, that'll require the expense
of a reamer and having someone with the right equipment and attitude to do
the metal work.
