I don't know of any one good source for Disney laser discs. If you don't
buy them when they first come out you usually miss out on being able to
mail-order them.
I don't have a complete list. I personally have more than 1200 separate
Disney items in my video collection, including live park footage dating
from 1959-1996, animated movies, live action movies, TV Shows,
made-for-TV movies, the Walt-hosted TV shows, cartoon shorts and all
that stuff. Ever "complete" list I've seen is incomplete. The most
complete list I have seen is in "Disney A to Z" by Disney archivist Dave
Smith. Any real list that attempted to be close to being complete would
be way too long to post in here.
I really like this new dave Smith book. It is an encyclopedia of all
things Disney. I enjoy it very much and use it in making my video
listings have complete information. I have a collector friend, however,
who says it's full of errors. he has been corresponding with Dave Smith
for the last 12 years. He says he's written with a list of the rrors in
the book. I didn't catch any errors, but then again, I'm in this purely
for the fun.
