IF I am correct and violence is mostly a male fear response, and its excess is
treatable by 
therapies that resolve the
inner conflicts causing the excess
violent reaction:

THEN advanced aliens will
1. be built on the same model
2. have advanced enough to resolve their repressed anger too thus being
reasonably kind and non violent to even
us lowly creatures.

IF life is a response to an
energy cycle that sets up a basic
food in/waste out pattern wherever it starts - then aliens
will be based on the same model, and advanced aliens will have resolved their
repressed inner conflicts  and not be the danger
all of us (who still are plagued by those conflicts),
now fear.
